An exciting 2021 is over and the new 2022 is in its starting blocks.
The past few months have been characterized by special circumstances. But we have managed to bring a mature, high-quality VR therapy system to the market, which opens new ways in rehabilitation. The CUREO software has been CE certified as a medical device and is already in use in many clinics. Our sales team spared no distance to present CUREO on site in the facilities. In addition to the German market, we have thus already been able to convince some clinics in our neighboring countries, so that, for example, the cantonal hospitals of Winterthur and Lucerne in Switzerland are using CUREO.
CUREO Update 1.1 and 2.0
With the update 1.1 we released new features and modules in July. In the daily module, patients can train the activities of everyday life and with Taiko, a varied music therapy is available. Thanks to the finger module, we were able to offer hand tracking for the first time, i.e. therapy without a controller, which is particularly suitable for fine motor skills of the hands and individual fingers. But that's not all: Our developers are constantly working on further improving CUREO and the release of our new update CUREO 2.0 is coming soon. Again, our users can expect great new features like a therapy plan, an improved user interface or new landscapes in the relax module.
Successful trade fairs
With the Therapy Fair Hamburg and the MEDICA in Düsseldorf, we were able to present our system live to all visitors on site again for a long time, thus gaining new customers. In addition, we were able to establish contact with further interested parties outside Germany, which will pave our way to internationalization in the coming months.
Exciting video shoots
We had an exciting shoot with the team from Vodafone as part of the "Diving Deeper" format, in which our CEO Thomas Saur talked about the risks and opportunities of founding a company and presented therapy based on virtual reality. The Ministry for Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy was also a guest in our office and interviewed our founders for the portal gründen.nrw.
Preview 2022
We were able to achieve our goals for the year 2021 and are pleased about all the many, positive feedbacks we receive from patients, therapists, physicians and scientists. With this in mind, we can't wait to reach more milestones in the coming year. Distributing CUREO in additional countries, opening up further markets, developing new updates or presenting ourselves at trade fairs and congresses are just some of the items at the top of our agenda.
