"When I made my way from my home in Schleswig-Holstein to North Rhine-Westphalia over 12 years ago, I didn't know what to expect one day. Full of drive and with plenty of ideas in my luggage, I simply set off on my journey.
I am proud of my colleague Laura Bauer, who started her first professional journey from the opposite direction for our company CUREosity GmbH in April of this year, in order to make a new start in very special times. In the current times, cohesion and stability are more important than ever for all of us. Every decade brings crises, I have learned today, and I agree. All the more reason for me to take this opportunity to express how important it is to educate the next generations and give them reliable guardrails.
Digitization is making enormous strides, I experience this every day in our medtech company, but core values such as reliability, trust and confidence will never go out of fashion and should be the driving force behind our daily actions.
It is our joint task to set the young generation on the right path and ensure that they grow not only professionally, but also as humans.
I would like to take this opportunity to once again extend a warm welcome to our new recruit. It's great that you are part of our team and even if you don't want to admit it: I don't understand Bavarian. Especially not with your huge FFP2 mask on your face :-).
